At the beginning of its activity in 2009, the Iranian Geomorphological Association realized the gap in the field of publishing a specialized journal of geomorphology and put the publication of scientific-research journals in the field of geomorphological studies and researches on its agenda. Quantitative Geomorphological Research with the aim of producing science, promoting and improving the level of theoretical and experimental knowledge of geomorphological studies, expanding cooperation and scientific interaction between researchers in the field of geomorphological studies to exchange lessons and experiences and strengthen dialogue and critique of thought and help It has started its activities to develop the country by solving geomorphological problems and hazards and trying to identify, explain and provide the necessary solutions and guidelines. 

Quantitative Geomorphological Research has now started as an interdisciplinary research journal in the field of geomorphological studies and for publishing scientific-research articles in the fields of arid geomorphology, mountain geomorphology, coastal geomorphology, structural geomorphology, geomorphology and geomorphology. Quaternary climate change declares its readiness. Due to the importance of the issue, the great difficulty of walking in this valley is not hidden from anyone, and for this reason, he has extended a helping hand to all those who are interested. Requests professors, experts, researchers, experts, planners, executives and all stakeholders related to geomorphological studies to assist the journal in this by providing their own guidelines as well as submitting their original research papers. It also requests the relevant authorities to help us achieve these goals with their cooperation, participation and assistance in achieving this young tree, and to assist the association in publishing this publication, which is an indicator of the scientific production of this field.
